The Western Districts Hockey Club AGM will be held on Thursday, 7 March 2024 at 7pm in the Yeend Room, National Hockey Centre, Lyneham and all members are welcome.

Nominations for committee positions are open to all senior players, parents and supporters interested in helping to run the club in 2024 and contribute to the club's future growth.

Committee positions required by Hockey ACT include:

Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Hook into Hockey Co-ordinator
Junior Co-ordinator
Senior Women's Co-ordinator
Senior Men's Co-ordinator
Umpiring Co-ordinator
Indoor Co-ordinator

We also have lots of other jobs available to help with running the club and would appreciate any contributions of time.  At the moment we have only a few people doing a bulk of the work, which is not sustainable (or fair).  For the last couple of years, most of our committee members have dual roles and are managing or coaching teams as well so we are bogged down in getting teams on the field each week and have no time to do our committee work properly.  We are all volunteers and just as busy with work and family as everyone else.  As the saying goes, many hands make light work and we need more hands!
